AC Milan skipper Riccardo Montolivo is hoping that Kaka resists the lure of the MLS in the summer and remains with the club into next season.

Kaka has admitted a liking for the MLS and has vowed to consider his future at the end of the season. A move to the United States may become more appealing if Milan fail to qualify for any form of European competition next term.

Montolivo has urged his team-mates to push hard to finish in a Europa League spot to provide another reason for Kaka to stay put.

The former Fiorentina star told Milan's site: "Kaka will consider his situation, but only at the end of the season.

"We will try to qualify for the Europa League to give him extra motivation to stay at Milan.

"I'm certain though that he is aware of the prestige the club have."

Kaka has made 23 appearances in Serie A so far this season, chipping in with seven goals and five assists in what has been a campaign to forget for the Rossoneri.

His contract with the club runs until 2015.
