Yevhen Konoplyanka's agent has sparked speculation that the Ukrainian international could be the subject of rekindled interest from Liverpool.

Konoplyanka came desperately close to signing for Liverpool in the January transfer window, the deal only failing to proceed when the winger's club refused to sign off the transfer on deadline day.

With Dnipro's owner refusing the move, Konoplyanka was left at the Ukrainian club.

Dnipro's owner has since suggested he is in advanced talks over selling Konoplyanka to Tottenham Hotspur and has publicly advised the player to head to London instead of Liverpool.

But Konoplyanka may have other ideas, with his agent James Lippett having travelled up to Liverpool, where Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has refused to rule out returning for the winger.

Lippett tweeted a picture of him arriving in Liverpool earlier today, sending transfer rumour mills into overdrive.
