Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho does not want to be drawn into discussing Romelu Lukaku's future at the club, but has revealed there have been no approaches for the Belgian.

Lukaku is on a season-long loan at Everton from Chelsea and has shone at Goodison Park. Questions are still being asked over whether he has a future at Stamford Bridge however, with Tottenham Hotspur the latest club to be strongly linked with the former Anderlecht youngster.

But, asked whether there have been any approaches for Lukaku, Mourinho told a press conference: "No."

And the Portuguese feels now is not the time to think about what the future holds for the powerful Belgian striker.

"I don't think it is the time to speak about it.

"He is a Chelsea player, but at the same time he is also an Everton player until the end of the season and we want to respect that.

"And Everton is being a good club for a loan, our player is there and our player is playing and developing and this is what you expect when you send some players on loan.

"This doesn't happen with every club or with every player. And with Lukaku that loan is working well for Everton and Chelsea."
