Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has wasted no time in making an impact at Zenit St. Petersburg, leading the side to a 6-2 win over Rubin Kazan.

The victory has moved Zenit to the top of the Russian Premier League, Zenit boasting 50 points from 24 games.

Villas-Boas was sacked by Tottenham in December last year, but signed a lucrative contract as Zenit coach last month.

The Portuguese has now set his sights on leading Zenit to the Russian Premier League crown to bounce back in style.
