Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has swiftly given his backing to the club's coach Laurent Blanc following the team's exit from the Champions League this evening.
Despite having beaten Chelsea 3-1 at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final, PSG went down to a 2-0 loss at Stamford Bridge to crash out on away goals.

It is a huge disappointment for the French champions, who lavished the cash once again in the summer.
But Al-Khelaifi will not blame Blanc.

"Even after the defeat, Laurent Blanc is the best coach for us", the president told Canal +.
"I trust him and my team", he added.
PSG will be back for another crack at the Champions League next season, as they sit on top of the Ligue 1 table and poised to win the French title.
