Manchester United are not resting on their laurels despite David de Gea's relative youth, with young goalkeeping starlet Vanja Milinkovic-Savic having been invited for a trial.

The 17-year-old, who currently plies his trade in his homeland of Serbia with FK Vojvodina, has been the cause of a great many trips on the part of Manchester United scouts in recent months.

Now the Red Devils want to take a much closer look at Milinkovic-Savic.

According to Serbian outlet Sportske, the youngster will land at Old Trafford on 13th April and spend a week working with Manchester United, as the club assess his talent and potential.

Milinkovic-Savic's brother already plays in the first team at FK Vojvodina.

Sergei Milinkovic-Savic is a 19-year-old midfielder, who has represented Serbia at Under-19 level.

FK Vojvodina currently sit in sixth spot in the Serbian top flight, having collected 34 points from 22 games thus far.
