Monaco coach Claudio Ranieri insists he is not being distracted by talk that Zinedine Zidane could replace him in the summer.

It has been claimed that Monaco's owner is not content with Ranieri's performance at the Stade Louis II, even though the Italian has the club sitting second in Ligue 1, having only just been promoted last term.

And Zidane, serving on the coaching staff at Real Madrid, has been mooted as a replacement.

But Ranieri will not allow such chatter to take his focus off the task at hand.

"Rumours do not affect me, I assure you", the former Chelsea manager said at a press conference when asked.

"I am focused on my goals and I expect the same from all of my players."
