Diego Lopez insists he will not leave Real Madrid unless the club kick him out.

Lopez was preferred as Real Madrid's first choice towards the end of Jose Mourinho's reign at the Bernabeu and the situation has continued under Carlo Ancelotti, with Iker Casillas relegated to cup duty.

And Lopez has no intention of ending his Real Madrid dream early, despite speculation he could move on.

"I have said it many times. I have a three-year contract and I'll only leave when the club kick me out", the goalkeeper told reporters.

"The rumours [I could leave] are a joke", he continued.

"I'll stay here. I am very happy and I will continue to fight for my place."

Lopez has played in every one of Real Madrid's 32 La Liga fixtures this season so far, conceding 32 goals in the process.
