Barcelona defender Martin Montoya has admitted that the team are feeling the effects of a poor run of form and potentially ending the season without any major silverware.

The Catalan giants crashed out of the Champions League last week to Atletico Madrid and went down to a shock 1-0 defeat to Granada in La Liga on Saturday, which has seen them slip down to third in the standings.

Barcelona face the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid on Wednesday and Montoya has revealed the strain the club's dip has had on the team.

"Mentally we're pretty screwed up", he told the club's site.

"We will fight for the league until the end, we still have games left and hopefully our rivals will lose points", Montoya added.

Barcelona have lost five times this season in La Liga, with four of those losses coming on the road.

The Blaugrana host Atletico Madrid in their last match of the season on 18th May.
