Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has said that the side’s recent performances have left him disappointed, but he believes that boss Tata Martino will still see out his contract with the Camp Nou club.

Subsequent to their exit from the Champions League last week after losing to Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals, the Catalans lost 1-0 to Granada on Saturday that saw them dropping to third in La Liga’s table, four points behind Diego Simeone’s side who lead the league.

"If we talk about results, it's my worst moment as sporting director”, he was quoted as saying by FIFA’s official site.

"We played so well [at Granada], with 80 per cent of possession. [But] we lacked tranquility in the final pass."

The 52-year-old also said that he is confident that Martino, who took over the reins of the Spanish club over from Tito Vilanova in the summer of 2013 on a two-year contract, will not leave at the end of the season.

"He's going to fulfil his contract", he added of the Argentinian.

"He has said that I do not know how many times. Right now, he is our coach and I am very proud of his work."

Barcelona will be looking to win their first major trophy this season when they face rivals Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final at the Mestella on Wednesday.
