Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is adamant that the Citizens are not out of the title race after yesterday’s 3-2 defeat at Liverpool’s hands at Anfield.

Liverpool lead the Premier League table on 77 points, followed by Chelsea on 75 points and Manchester City on 70 points, but the Sky Blues have played two games fewer than their title rivals.

Pellegrini insisted that the defeat to Liverpool is not the end of the season for them and neither has it ended the title race.

"There are a lot of things that will happen from now until the end of the season”, the Chilean told the BBC.
