Hull City manager Steve Bruce feels Arsenal will be under a lot of pressure due to their nine-year trophy drought when they face his side in the FA Cup final at Wembley on 17th May.

The Tigers beat League One side Sheffield United 5-3 in their semi-final on Sunday, while the Gunners won 4-2 on penalties against the English cup’s defending champions Wigan Athletic on Saturday to make it to the final showdown of the knockout tournament.

Arsene Wenger’s side last won a trophy in 2005, after beating Manchester United 5-4 on penalties in the FA Cup, and already out of the English title race this year, a win in the final is their only hope for silverware. And that, combined with the drought, puts the pressure on Arsenal and not Hull, Bruce believes.

"The pressure will be on Arsenal because they have not won anything for a while”, Bruce was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"They are a great side, they have great tradition and great history with a top-class manager. We are up against it but we will do our best."

Hull have reached the final for the first time in their 110-year-old history and with a league game against Arsenal already lined up on Sunday, they will be looking forward to getting a feel for things before judgement day.
