Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has expressed his desire to continue with his goalscoring form until the end of the season.

With his goal against West Bromwich Albion, the 20-year-old has now scored two important goals in two back-to-back matches, to stake his claim in Tim Sherwood's first team.

And with just four matches remaining in the season, he is hoping to make a far-reaching impact to provide his team with a much needed boost in ensuring European qualification.

“It’s good to score an important goal”, Kane told his club's official site.

“It was great to start again, too. I want to give back goals."

In spite of early defensive lapses, the Lillywhites held their nerve to come from behind and earn a draw against Pepe Mel's team in the league and will now be hoping to continue with their form for the remainder of the season.

“Hopefully I can keep it up, get another start and another goal next week.

“We’ve four games left and it would be great to get some more starts and more goals between now and the end of the season”, the Engalnd Under-21 international added.
