Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech believes it still remains to be seen how Liverpool cope with the pressure of fighting for the title over the end of season run-in.

Liverpool sit top of the table, two points ahead of second-placed Chelsea, with four games left to play. The Reds dispatched third-placed Manchester City, 3-2, on Sunday, to ensure if they win their final four matches they will be champions.

And Cech, whose Chelsea side still have to make the trip to Anfield on 27th April, thinks Liverpool are very much untested in the heat of the title battle.

"No one expected anything from Liverpool and they are in contention and that is why they play without pressure so far, but let's see how they are going to cope when it comes to the last hurdle", the goalkeeper was quoted as saying by ITV.

"They will have to jump over it and they have been doing remarkably well. We have things in our hands. We need to wait for one slip-up from Manchester City, but if we win our games we have a chance.

"At the start, everyone has 38 games to have the most points and I don't think at the end of 38 games it is a question of luck.

"The one who gets the most points obviously deserves to win the title, so we will see who it will be."

As well as pushing for the Premier League title, Chelsea are also involved in the Champions League semi-finals, where they face Atletico Madrid.
