Manchester United's owners, the Glazers, have been left impressed with Holland coach Louis van Gaal, but the Dutchman is set to be faced with a tricky decision this coming summer.

Van Gaal is leaving his post as Holland boss after the World Cup and he is reported to have met with a member of the Glazer family on Friday.

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is another to have met with Van Gaal and the Dutchman could choose to succeed Tim Sherwood at White Hart Lane this summer.

However, according to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, Van Gaal may have to wait if he wishes to head to Old Trafford instead.

The Red Devils have still not comprehensively decided to sack current boss David Moyes, with a number of voices within Old Trafford urging stability.

And so, Van Gaal looks set to have to decide over taking the Tottenham job when he leaves his post with Holland, or possibly biding his time a little longer to wait for a dream opportunity at Manchester United.

Van Gaal has made no secret of his desire to work in the Premier League in the 2014/15 campaign.
