Real Madrid midfielder Carlos Henrique Casemiro’s agent Joseph Lee has confirmed that Inter Milan have shown an interest in his client, but insists it is too early to talk about any potential transfer.

A youth product of Brazilian club Sao Paulo, Casemiro initially joined Real Madrid on loan in January 2013 and was put in the club's Castilla side in the Segunda Division. The move was made permanent in June 2013 for a fee of around €6m.

"Have I spoken to Inter about Casemiro? Yes, I talked while we were finalising the transfer of Hernanes in January", Lee told Tutto Mercato.

Lee believes that it is too early to talk about any potential transfer of the Brazilian midfielder, but said that Casemiro is flattered by the interest shown by a club of the stature of Inter Milan.

"Of course, he is doing very well in Spain, but is happy that a club like Inter is following him. But since January I have not spoken to the Nerazzurri, and I think it is too early to give any kind of information.

“The Italian league? He loves it, but I repeat that it is still too early to talk about these things.”

Casemiro made his debut for the Brazilian national side on September 2011 in a 0–0 draw against Argentina aged just 19.
