Southampton left-back Luke Shaw has moved quickly to dampen speculation linking him with a switch to Manchester United.
Shaw, who has been mooted as a transfer target for the Red Devils, favourited a Tweet which expressed the hope he would move to Old Trafford this coming summer.

But Shaw quickly unfavourited the Tweet and then favourited another Tweet which suggested he had not meant to favourite the original Tweet.
The defender has attracted attention from a number of clubs due to a series of fine displays for Southampton this term.

Shaw has even been backed for inclusion in Roy Hodgson's England squad for the World Cup.
The 18-year-old has made 31 appearances for Southampton in the Premier League so far this season.
His contract with the Saints runs until 2018.
