Tottenham Hotspur defender Zeki Fryers is delighted after his side came from behind to draw their game 3-3 against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

A 25-second strike from Matej Vydra, along with goals by Chris Brunt and Stephane Sessegnon, meant that the Baggies were 3-0 ahead at one point in the first half, before a Jonas Olsson own goal in the 34th minute followed by late strikes from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen saw the Liliywhites take a point home.

But, the 21-year-old left-back was ecstatic after the draw and felt that they could have gone on to win the game.

“We knew we were still in the game at 3-1 and another goal might tip it in our favour. We kept working hard, showed focus and concentration and managed to pull it back to 3-3”, the Englishman told Tottenham’s official site.

“Credit to West Brom and their start, they did well.

“But it was a great feeling when Christian scored. We thought we might go on to win the game, even with two minutes left”, he continued.

“Had we played how we did in the second half for the whole game and not conceded early, we probably would have won.”

Sixth-placed Spurs are battling reigning champions Manchester United for a Europa League spot and will be hoping to continue their winning momentum when they face Fulham at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
