Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy has warned Liverpool that the Canaries will be scrapping for the points when they host the Reds at Carrow Road on Sunday.

The lunchtime kick-off will see Liverpool try to maintain their spot at the top of the Premier League, with just four games left until the end of the season.

Norwich have their own reasons for wanting the points however, sitting just two points above the drop zone and having lost to Fulham, who sit directly below them, last weekend.

"We have got as much to lose, if not more, than they have", Ruddy was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"We are scrapping for our lives and we all want to be Premier League footballers and at the end of the day, that is what it boils down to, how much do you want to be a Premier League footballer? Because if you don't put in the performances in these last four games, it is not going to happen", the England goalkeeper concluded.

After facing Liverpool, Norwich round out their campaign with fixtures against Manchester United (away), Chelsea (away) and Arsenal (home).

The earlier fixture between Norwich and Liverpool this season ended in a 5-1 win for the Reds at Anfield.
