West Ham midfielder Mark Noble believes his side can take positives from having put in good performances against Liverpool and Arsenal over their last two games, despite losing both.

The Hammers went down to a closely-fought 2-1 defeat at home to Liverpool on 6th April and followed that up by losing 3-1 at Arsenal on Tuesday evening.

Despite taking no points from the double-header against members of the Premier League's elite, Noble feels there is much to be encouraged about, even if he believes they must take something from such games in the future.

"We passed it about well [against Arsenal]. Whenever you lose it's not enjoyable, but as much as you can come here and enjoy it I did, but there's still no points on the board", the midfielder told his club's site.

"We played really well against Liverpool and didn't get anything and we can't keep playing well against the big teams and not getting anything", Noble concluded.

West Ham will now switch their focus to Saturday's game against Crystal Palace, as Tony Pulis' in-form outfit visit Upton Park.

"We're playing at home against Crystal Palace and they're a team that we want to get three points off", Noble added.
