Italy midfielder Antonio Nocerino is keen to remain at West Ham rather than returning to AC Milan.

Nocerino left the Rossoneri in January to link up with the Hammers on loan for the remainder of the season and the player has been impressed with what he has found in the Premier League.

Now Nocerino wants to stay put instead of returning to Milan, where he feels he is not in the club's plans.

The 29-year-old told Tuttosport: "I finally feel appreciated.

Nocerino has made nine appearances in the Premier League for West Ham during his loan stint, although seven have seen him introduced from the substitutes' bench.
