Former Tottenham Hotspur forward Sergey Rebrov has been appointed caretaker coach of Dynamo Kyiv following Oleh Blokhin's departure yesterday.

Blokhin opted to call time on his reign at the club after a 2-0 home defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk, who lead the Ukrainian Premier League standings.

The 61-year-old had taken over in 2012, however has endured a tough time in charge with no silverware arriving despite an extensive recruitment drive.

Now Dynamo Kyiv have opted to replace Blokhin with Rebrov until the end of the season.
