Manchester United manager David Moyes has confirmed the availability of Wayne Rooney and Marouane Fellaini for their clash against Everton this weekend.

In their match against Bayern Munich last week, Rooney took an injection and played with an injured toe and Marouane Fellaini didn’t travel with the squad to Germany due to an injury.

"Rooney trained great this week and has been in really good form. We're hopefully getting him back as he wasn't quite right with his toe at times. He's trained great though", the Scot told the club’s official site.

"Felli didn't play against Bayern but we expect him back fit because he has trained all week.”

The former Everton manager also confirmed that Jonny Evans is getting fitter but Rafael won’t be available for this weekend.

“Evans is making progress but Rafa is the one player not available.”

The 50-year-old also admits that he is keeping a close eye on Robin van Persie’s recovery as the Dutchman goes through his rehabilitation process in Holland.

“Robin is in Holland and improving but we always thought it would be four to six weeks.

"We'll have a better assessment in the next week or so. Our medical team is heading out there to see him this week to get a better feel as to exactly where he is."

Moyes will be returning to his old club for the first time since leaving Everton for Manchester United at the start of last season as the Red Devils travel to Liverpool to take on the Toffees in the Premier League this Sunday at Goodison Park.
