Roma have registered their interest in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho, making discreet enquiries for the Brazilian.

The Giallorossi would like to take Paulinho on loan for next season, with an agreement containing a right to transform that into a permanent deal should he impress in the Italian capital.

According to Italian daily Il Tempo, Tottenham are not keen on sending the midfielder on loan however and would only consider an outright sale, set at €20m.

The 25-year-old only landed at White Hart Lane last summer, arriving at the club after helping Brazil to Confederations Cup success.
