England manager Roy Hodgson has revealed that he will do everything to prepare the team for sweltering conditions in Brazil during the World Cup.

The Three Lions take on 2006 world champions Italy in their tournament opener at the Arena Amazonia in Manaus.

Prior to the clash, the team will train in South Florida in order to adapt themselves to the heat and humidity they are most likely to face during the entire tournament.

The former Fulham manager believes that this will be ideal preparation before the tricky South American test.

"We will do like any other team that will play in Manaus, which has a special climate", the 66-year-old told the FA's official site.

"We are doing everything possible to prepare the players in order to deal with these conditions.

"It's not the best situation for us but neither is it for Italy. I don't think right now this even represents an advantage for any South American side."

The match against Italy will be followed by two other group encounters with Uruguay on 19th June and Costa Rica on 24th June.
