Sunderland manager Gus Poyet believes the Premier League title is now heading to Liverpool after his side inflicted a shock defeat on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Poyet's men, who are in the thick of a battle against relegation, grabbed a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge, coming from 1-0 down to win via an 82nd minute Fabio Borini penalty.

The result leaves Chelsea sitting second in the Premier League on 75 points, two points behind Liverpool, who have 77 points.

Should Liverpool beat Norwich City tomorrow they will move five points ahead of Chelsea with just three games to play.

And Poyet is of the opinion that his fellow Uruguayan, Luis Suarez, will end the season as a Premier League winner.

Asked by Sky Sports post-match where the title is going, the Sunderland manager answered with a smile: "My friend, Luis Suarez, I think."

Liverpool face matches against Norwich, Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Newcastle to round out their season.
