David Moyes has reassured Manchester United fans that he is working hard to ensure key summer signings arrive at Old Trafford to prepare the side for next term.
Manchester United went down to a 2-0 defeat against Moyes' old club Everton at Goodison Park today, with Roberto Martinez's men proving good value for their victory, which completed a double over the Red Devils this season.
The defeat means no Champions League football at Old Trafford in 2014/15. It is the first time since 1995 that Manchester United will not have played in the Champions League.
Asked what he will do to spark a revival, Moyes told Sky Sports: "Well, we've already done that.

"And we're doing that behind the scenes now."
And Moyes also admitted that no Champions League football hurts.
"It does [hurt] because it's part of this club and we want to be in it.
"We'll do everything we can to get back into it as quickly as we can."
