Brendan Rodgers is relishing Liverpool's game against Chelsea at Anfield next weekend, after his side put Norwich City to the sword 3-2 at Carrow Road.

Goals from Raheem Sterling (4th and 62nd minutes) and Luis Suarez (11th minute) handed Liverpool a vital three points in a game in which Norwich fought hard.




With Chelsea having lost at home against Sunderland yesterday, Liverpool are now five points clear of the Blues, who sit second, with the pair locking horns next weekend.

Manchester City sit third, nine points behind Liverpool, but have two games in hand.

And Rodgers is relishing the occasion which will unfold when Jose Mourinho's men visit Anfield.

"We will go into the next three games looking to perform well", he was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"We want to continue to fight and now look to Chelsea next week – where it will be an incredible atmosphere at Anfield."

After facing Chelsea, Liverpool round off their season by visiting Crystal Palace and then hosting Newcastle on the season's final day.
