Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has declared that his side are confident about finishing the season in the top four after their 3-0 triumph over Hull City at the KC Stadium yesterday.

Ramsey marked his first start in the calendar year with a 31st-minute strike, which was followed by a brace from Lukas Podolski, as Arsenal consolidated fourth spot with 70 points from 35 games, just a point ahead of fifth-placed Everton, who defeated Manchester United 2-0 hours later.

And Ramsey, who lauded the professional way in which Arsenal bagged the full three points away from home, revealed that the Gunners intend to win their remaining three Premier League fixtures to be certain of a top four finish.

"It was important to come here and get the win to keep our position in the league. I thought we did ever so well”, the midfielder told his club’s official site.

"It was always going to be a tough game coming here. Any result away from home in this league is good

“We were professional in the way we went about things but we got the job done. We stayed quite tight at the back and we got the job done on the break and made them pay.

"Our objective is to win every game until the end of the season. We've beaten West Ham and now Hull today, we've got a few more games to go and we're quite confident we can do it [finish in the top four]."

Arsenal will face Newcastle United, West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City in their last three league games of the season.
