Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nacer Chadli is pleased to see the team scoring more goals in the last few game as result of their recent performances.

Tottenham registered a comfortable 3-1 win over Fulham at White Hart Lane on Saturday with goals from Paulinho, Harry Kane and Younes Kaboul.

“We create enough chances to score goals and we’ve been putting some of them away”, the Belgian told the club’s official site.

Chadli admits that they didn’t start well against the Cottagers but believes that the change in tempo that Spurs brought about in their game in the second half made the difference.

“In the first half our tempo was too low and we spent too long on the ball. We knew we had to play faster and as we all saw the second half was better, we scored quickly and we created good chances.

“Everybody is happy after the result. We played very well and it’s a good win for us.”

Spurs have scored eleven goals in their last three league games and are currently sixth in the Premier League table on 63 points.

Chadli joined Tottenham last summer from Dutch side Twente for a deal worth £7m and signed a five-year contract with the club.
