Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that Aaron Ramsey’s return to first-team action has given his side an added dimension on the attacking front.

The midfielder, who was in superb goalscoring form earlier in the season before facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a thigh injury, marked his return to first-team football with a clinical strike in the Gunners’ 3-0 win over Hull City at the KC Stadium on Sunday.

And Wenger is of the opinion that with the return of the 23-year-old, his side are better equipped to find the back of the net, especially away from home.

"It [Ramsey’s return] is important because we looked in a few games a bit toothless away from home", the manager explained to his club’s official site.

"To have that back is of course a threat for our opponent and it gives us opportunities to score goals."

Ramsey’s strike against Hull was his 14th goal of the season. The Welsh international has also managed to provide 10 assists in 31 games in all competitions in the present campaign.
