Everton will have to make do without Kevin Mirallas for the remainder of the season.

The Belgium international limped off against Manchester United during Everton's 2-0 weekend win over the Red Devils and tests have revealed the severity of the injury he suffered.

Mirallas has picked up a groin tear and will be out for the Toffees' final three games of the season, a big blow for a side trying to overtake Arsenal to finish fourth in the Premier League.

Everton said in a statement: "Kevin Mirallas will miss the remaining three games of the season.
