Atletico Madrid playmaker Koke believes the match against Chelsea in the Champions League could be the "most important game" of his life.

The two teams lock horns at Madrid's Vicente Calderon for the first leg of the semi-final later tonight.




For Diego Simeone and his men it will be a golden opportunity to keep their hopes of winning both La Liga and the Champions League alive.

Koke, who has the chance of playing with his childhood dream team Atletico Madrid in such an important event, reveals that the match against the Pensioners will be an incredible experience for him, if he is picked.

"To play a UEFA Champions League semi-final with the team you have supported as a child is a dream", the 22-year old told UEFA's official site.

"If I'm picked it will be an incredible experience for me.Tomorrow could be the most important game of my life."

The match will also see the former El Atleti star Fernando Torres return to the Vicente Calderon to take on his former team. Koke says that he will be happy to see him there, but stresses that they won't be wishing him luck during the game. 

"Fernando Torres has always been an inspiration for me.

"I'm sure all the fans will be happy to see him here. We wish him all the luck in the world, but not in the game", the Spaniard said.
