Nottingham Forest striker Dexter Blackstock is facing charges of misconduct in relation to betting offences.

Blackstock has been sidelined due to a knee injury since December last year and is facing multiple charges in relation to alleged breaches of FA rule E8 (b) for misconduct in relation to betting.




An FA statement, issued today, read: “Nottingham Forest’s Dexter Blackstock has been charged with multiple breaches of FA Rule E8 (b) for misconduct in relation to betting.

“Blackstock has until Monday 28 April 2014 to respond to the charge.”

Before suffering a serious knee injury in December last year Blackstock made three league appearance for Nottingham Forest this season.

Blackstock represented the England Under-21 side under Stuart Pearce in 2007 and made his international debut for Antigua and Barbuda in a 4-0 friendly defeat to Trinidad and Tobago in 2012.
