AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari has stressed the importance of continuing with their winning run to end the season on a high.

The Rossoneri are currently on a six-match unbeaten run, and have recovered well from their poor form during the middle of the season.

The run has lifted them up to sixth position in the table with 51 points from 34 matches, trailing European qualification contenders Inter Milan by five points.

Upcoming matches against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico and against Inter Milan are therefore important for the team.

"We have done well in the six games and we want to continue with our form until the end of the season", the 29-year-old told his club's official site.

"These two matches will be difficult, we have to think first of Roma, then the derby.

"We go to the Olimpico quietly and follow the instructions of the coach.

"We just have to focus on one game and get points against Roma."

Muntari has played 22 games for his team this season scoring four goals and has provided his team-mates with two more assists.
