Barcelona will be able to engage in transfer dealing this summer after FIFA suspended its transfer ban on the club.

The Spanish giants were suspended from any transfer dealing by football’s governing organisation for 14 months after it found that the Catalan club had breached rules on signing international players under the age of 18.

However, the suspension is now on hold pending an appeal.

A FIFA statement read: "The chairman of the FIFA appeal committee considered that the appeal lodged by the club is to be granted suspensive effect."
