Malaga player Ignacio Camacho has signed a contract extension with the Spanish club ending all speculation over his future.

The 23-year-old was linked to a number of clubs over the past few weeks, but has now committed his long term future to the Anchovies by renewing his contract until June 2019.

A product of the Atletico Madrid youth academy, Camacho joined the Rosaleda Stadium outfit in December 2010, after making 30 first team appearances in the league for the Red and Whites.

He has featured in 90 league games for Malaga since then, playing a key role for Bernd Schuster in the midfield this season, and has expressed his gratitude to the Spanish club for making him feel valued.
