Manchester United attacking midfielder Adnan Janujaz’s agent Dirk De Vriese has said that the youngster is happy to have finally made the decision to play for the Belgium national team.

Januzaj joined Manchester United in 2011 as a 16-year-old young prodigy from Anderlecht and made rapid progress through the ranks. The Belgian became a first team regular under recently sacked Manchester United manager David Moyes.

Januzaj had the option of representing Belgium through birth and passport, Albania due to his ethnic Albanian heritage, Turkey as his grandparents belong to that country, Kosovo as it his parents’ homeland and Serbia due to the disputed status of Kosovo.

The young prodigy finally decided to make himself available for selection for Belgium yesterday.
