Yaya Sanogo believes that he will have a better second season at Arsenal as he will get to know more about his team-mates and the style of football in England.

Sanogo was tempted to Arsenal last summer by Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who persuaded him to quit Ligue 2 side Auxerre.

“I am still discovering at the moment, learning. Next year, I will have done a proper pre-season and I will know the language and the football better”, the 21-year-old told the club’s official site.

The former Auxerre striker thinks he needs to get used to his new team-mates by playing more, both on the pitch and in training sessions.

"I will also have a better understanding with my team-mates. It is still new for me to play with them and although I have integrated very well in the squad, with a big help from the other French players in the team.

“I haven’t played too much, even at training with the rest of the squad.”

Sanogo has been handed starting opportunities in a number of crunch clashes for Arsenal this term, notably appearing against Bayern Munich in the Champions League and Liverpool in the FA Cup.
