Manchester United have offered a new three-year extension to Patrice Evra’s existing contract which is set to expire this summer, according to Sky Italia.

Evra’s contract is set to expire at the end of this campaign and the Frenchman is believed to be looking for a move away after spending more than eight years in Manchester.

Manchester United are looking to retain the services of the experienced French international as they look to rebuild their squad for next season and have offered a three-year extension to the club vice-captain.

Inter Milan recently signed Manchester United club captain Nemanja Vidic, who is set to join Italians at the start of the 2014/15 campaign and the Nerazzurri are looking at the possibility of signing the French full-back if he refuses the new contract extension.
