Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani has brushed off growing talk linking him with a summer switch to Manchester United.

Cavani helped PSG retain the French Ligue 1 title last night, despite the Parisians suffering a 2-1 defeat to Rennes at the Parc des Princes.

However, the jury is out on whether Cavani will stick around to help PSG fight for a third consecutive Ligue 1 crown, with the striker annoyed at playing second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and coach Laurent Blanc showing no sign of being willing to shift the former Napoli man's position.

"Manchester United? I do not know if it's true", Cavani was quoted as saying by Le 10 Sport.

"You should ask those who speak to those who give information", he added.

"My future? We will certainly speak after the season, with the president, with the club. And I think it will be for the better."

Cavani has scored 16 goals for PSG in Ligue 1 so far this season, being deployed on 30 occasions in the French top flight.
