Everton defender Seamus Coleman believes that he has been learning continuously under manager Roberto Martinez and will look for more improvement in the future.

The 23-year-old has been presented with both the Player and Players' Player of the Season awards for his contribution to the team during this season.

Coleman has in fact played in 35 league games for his team, scoring six goals and has provided his team-mates with two equally important assists.

However, the Irish international gives all the credit for his success to the manager, who he believes gives him confidence to "push forward."

“It’s the way he likes us to train – he wants us to pick up positions and study the game for areas where we can benefit against other teams", Coleman told his club's official site.

"I‘m forever learning under him and I’m looking forward to more.

“The manager has given me a lot of confidence to push forward.”

Coleman's team are currently placed fifth in the league with 69 points and will play Hull City at the weekend before the Premier League season finally comes to an end.
