Udinese have beaten Arsenal in the race for Moroccan wonderkid Nabil Jaadi.

The 17-year-old right-winger had been linked with the Gunners, who had been keen to add him to their youth ranks, but Jaadi has opted to continue his career in Italy, confirming his move to Udinese via his official Facebook page.

Currently at Belgian giants Anderlecht, Jaadi has been tipped for big things and impressed this season in the UEFA Youth League.

The 17-year-old turned out five times in the blue ribbon youth competition, providing two assists.

Jaadi also played for Morocco in the Under-17 World Cup last year, becoming the subject of a number of scouting trips.

Losing Jaadi will be a blow for Anderlecht, however the starlet believes Udinese offer the best route to progress his career into senior football.
