Shinji Kagawa is waiting for Louis van Gaal to arrive at Manchester United, his agent has admitted.

The Japan international midfielder, who struggled to command a regular spot in the Manchester United side under both Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes, is attracting substantial attention ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window.

Former club Borussia Dortmund are watching developments closely, as are Italian giants Napoli.

But Kagawa's future is up to Van Gaal, the new Manchester United boss, the midfielder's agent says.
