Roma coach Rudi Garcia is hoping the Giallorossi present him with Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris as a transfer present this summer.

The French boss is a big fan of Lloris and has been tracking the former Lyon goalkeeper closely, believing that with Tottenham having missed out on Champions League football for next season, there may be a window of opportunity to sign the custodian.

According to French sports daily L'Equipe, Roma are plotting a bid for Lloris, aiming to steal him away to the Italian capital.

Lloris had an impressive season at White Hart Lane, even as turmoil gripped the club and Andre Villas-Boas was sacked as manager in December.
