Yes, Offer Has Arrived – Agent of Arda Turan Speaks Out Amid Arsenal and Manchester United Talk

Tuesday, 27th May, 2014

Arda Turan's agent has admitted that Atletico Madrid have a big decision to make with his client, on account of an offer having arrived from an English club; speculation pointing to Manchester United as the most likely party.

The Turkish winger impressed in La Liga this season, helping Atletico Madrid to break the Barcelona-Real Madrid duopoly and win the title.

Turan missed out on featuring in Atletico Madrid's Champions League defeat to Real Madrid through injury.

But he may not be around next season to help Diego Simeone's men defend their domestic crown and mount another tilt at continental success.

"Arda is currently playing at a big club with big ambitions. He wants to be part of that success, but we must wait and see what happens", Ahmet Bulut was quoted as saying by Voetbal Primeur.

"An offer from an English club has arrived", he continued.

"As in every transfer, two parties, the player and the club, they must make a decision."

Turan is thought to be wanted at Old Trafford by new Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal, though he has also been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool at regular points over the last year.

And Bulut admitted earlier this year: "He is interested in working under Arsene Wenger and Arda would like to play in England."
