Germany are set to leave out Philipp Lahm and Manuel Neuer from their final friendly game against Cameroon to allow the pair to fully recover from their injuries.

Lars Bender has already been ruled out of the World Cup due to injury and with Lahm and Neuer taking time to recover, Joachim Low does have some cause for concerns.

The German management have decided not to risk the duo in the final warm-up game on Sunday and are expecting that they will recover in time for the World Cup.

Sven Bender and Ilkay Gundogan failed to make the squad due to injuries and the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sami Khedira have been on the treatment table during Germany’s training camp this month.
