Newly-crowned European champions Real Madrid have been ordered by UEFA to close part of their stadium as punishment for racist behaviour from their supporters.

Real Madrid saw themselves charged by UEFA following this season's Champions League semi-final clash against Bayern Munich at the Bernabeu.

UEFA have now ordered Real Madrid to shut two sections of the Bernabeu for their next European match, something which will bring down the arena's 81,044 capacity.

UEFA said in a statement: "The fight against racism is a high priority.
