Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino is due back in Cagliari tomorrow or Tuesday to put the finishing touches to a deal to sell the Serie A side to former Inter board member Tommaso Giulini.

Cellino, who is keen to offload Cagliari in order to concentrate on Leeds, has already collected a down payment of €8m from Guilini as part of the sale agreement.

The agreement contains a termination clause which would cost more than the €8m already paid and virtually assures Cellino of Giulini's intent to complete the deal.

Now, according to Sardinian daily L'Unione Sarda, Cellino is due to arrive back in Cagliari either tomorrow or Tuesday for a further meeting with Giulini.

Cellino's representatives are already preparing the ground for the signing of the final sale agreement, which could take place on Tuesday.

Once that is signed, a further installment of €20m will be paid to the Leeds owner.

Giulini meanwhile is busily preparing for life as Cagliari owner and wants former Roma coach Zdenek Zeman to take over for next season.
