Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool are keeping a close watch on Adem Ljajic's situation at Roma amid suggestions the Giallorossi are prepared to sell him for the right price.

Roma swooped to sign Ljajic from Fiorentina last summer for a fee of €11m to replace Erik Lamela, sold to Tottenham Hotspur for €30m.




However, the 22-year-old has not fully convinced at Roma and the capital club are pondering cashing in on him.

And should they place Ljajic up for sale, that will be of interest to both Dortmund and Liverpool, according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport.

 


The Serbian made 28 appearances in Serie A for Roma last season as the Giallorossi finished second in the standings.

He chipped in with six goals and six assists, far below the figures that had been expected by the club faithful.

The forward, who had been due to join Manchester United as a youngster, signed a four-year deal upon joining Roma, keeping him at the Stadio Olimpico until 2017.
